New Pharmacy Donates Food to the Needy
The Mexican pharmacy chain, Farmacias Similares who opened their doors in Costa Rica for the first time just a couple of months ago are giving away food to the needy  who visit their pharmacy located on Paséo Colon.

During the hours of 5pm and 7pm every Monday, the pharmacy is donating to anyone who asks a kilo of rice, beans and sugar.

The pharmacy chain says it makes available about ¢200.000 colones (us$425 dollars) for the program each week.

Farmacias Similares has 2.800 pharmacies in Mexico and has been helping the needy every Monday for some time.
