Gap Between Upper Class and
Upper Middle Class Grows, Study
Shows
The gap between upper class and
upper middle class increased
between 1988 and 2004, according
to a study published yesterday
by the Academia de Centroamérica.
Several bus
accidents this
week have left
dozens of people
injured and the
major cause
seems to be the
health of the
drivers. In
yesterday's
accident between
two buses of the
same company
left 13 injured,
as one bus rear
ended the other
bus while it was
stopped to left
off passengers.

Free Transportation To The
Voting Booths on Referendum Day
The Cámara de Autobuseros de
Alajuela (Alajuela chamber of
bus operators) said it will make
available some 700 buses to the
Tribunal Supremo de Elecciones (TSE)
to transport, free of charge,
any person who needs a ride to
the polls to vote in the Tratado
de Libre Comercio (TLC) - free
trade agreement with the United
States - referendum.
