Marathon To Raise Money
For Those Affected By
Alma
A marathon to help the
affected by tropical
storm Alma in the
Southern Zone will be
held Saturday, 14 June,
at the Parque Central in
San José.
The marathon will run
from 9:00am to 6:00pm
and is organized by the
Municipalidad de San
José and the Asociación
Obras del Espíritu
Santo.
Music, clowns, marimbas
and other cultural
presentations are all
lined up for the day's
entertainment that will
attempt to raise money
that will be channeled
by way of the Cruz Roja
(Red Cross) to those in
areas most affected by
the climatic phenomenon. |
