Chavez to give a lecture on the integration process
The President of the African Union (AU) Commission, Alpha Oumar Konare, will visit Venezuela Sep 23-26 to meet with President Hugo Chavez to give a lecture on the integration process.

According to the official agenda, the African official will arrive Saturday night, on Sunday will visit Miranda, and on Monday will meet with Venezuelan chancellor Nicolas Maduro.

On that same day Konare will visit National Assembly, will meet with Ministers of Education and Sports, Aristobulo Isturiz and of Integration and Foreign Trade, Gustavo Marquez.

At the same time, he will give the lecture "Toward the United States of Africa" and will launch the book "1st Cultural Festival with the People of Africa," and on Tuesday will meet with Chavez.

Africa Vice-Chancellor Reinaldo Bolivar recalled that in the last and half year, Venezuela strengthened cooperation and friendship ties with Africa and opened 11 diplomatic representative headquarters on that continent.
