Tico Chickens Get Green Light To
Honduras
After 73 days, the Government of
Honduras, gave the the green
light for Costa Rican chickens
to cross its borders, said an
official of the Ministerio de
Agricultura y Ganadería (MAG).
Legislator Tinoco Is "My

Costa Rica
Rejects Negotiator
Costa Rica notified the other
Central American nations and the
European Union (EU) that it
rejects the appointment of the
Nicaraguan Minister of Foreign
Affairs, Norman Caldera, as
chief negotiator for the isthmus
in an eventual free trade
agreement with the EU.
Nicaraguan Embassy Moves
Beginning Monday, September 4,
the Nicaraguan embassy in Costa
Rica will be moved from its
present location in Barrio
California to Curridabat.
Braulio Carrillo Closed Sat &
Sun Morning
If planning to travel to the
Caribbean coast, plan ahead,
because the the Braulio Carrillo
highway will be closed this
morning (Saturday) and Sunday.
The MOPT is taking the time to
paint lanes on the roadway, work
