Nicaragua Buzzing with Coffee

Businessmen and farming experts
from several countries will
participate in October in the VI
International Coffee Forum
Ramacafe 2006, sector sources
said.
The meeting is looking for
identifying initiatives to boost
the country's number one export
product and raise its quality.
It will be on September 4, 5,
and 6 in Plaza hotel.
Representatives of the company
Green Mountain Roasters, the
second largest coffee company in
the US, and specialists of the
Directive Meeting of the Fair
Trade in Germany will be in the
forum.
The encounter will have the
theme "The perfect equation of
coffee: collaboration, quality
and chain of sustainable supply,
indispensable elements in this
market," according to experts.
The Nicaraguan Export Procedures
Center reported that between
January and June of this year
the court s coffee sales
increased by 23 percent.
