Guinness Record Soup
The tourist town of Sarchi in Alajuela was the scene for the preparation of a record soup prepared by 40 chefs using 400 kilos of premium tomatoes, 75 kilos of carrots and many, many kilos of other ingredients to make enough soup to feed 2.000 people.

Organizers said the goal was to enter the mega-soup in the Guinness Record book.
