Cables and Lamp Possible Cause
of Calderón Fire
The Fiscala de Delitos contra la
Vida (prosecutor's office for
homicide) is analyzing two lamps
and several cables found in a
storage room where the fire
began that killed 19 people at
the Calderón Guardia hospital on
Tuesday.
Fire officials turned over the
electrical system that is
possible to have caused the
blaze.
The Fiscalía is not making any
conclusions at this time, saying
only that it will closely
examine the evidence recovered
by the Cuerpo de Bomberos for
possible criminal activity.
