Two Mexicans Detained
In "Heli-Coca" Investigation
Two Mexicans
are in the hands of Costa Rica authorities
following an intense investigation into the
crash of the helicopter on May 1, carrying
395 kilos of cocaine. Judicial authorities
did not reveal the manes of the detained,
saying that more arrests are expected in the
coming days and do not want to hamper their
efforts.

of rain for the entire month of May fell on
the Caribbean coast of Limσn, experiencing
the first floods of the rainy season.

Period For Paying Telephone Bill
The Instituto Costarricense de Electricidad
(ICE) has for some time maintained a
practice of giving its customers eight (8)
days grace to pay their telephone bills,
that it is would not cut service until eight
days after the bill was due.

15 people have been confirmed with swine flu
in Panama. 12 newly confirmed cases were
announced on Sunday.
Panama Canal Expands Gate Operations
Panama - The Panama Canal Authority
announced that its second tie-up station,
located at Cartagena approach, is in full
operation.
Spokesmen for The Panama Canal Authority (ACP)
said that the new station allows the Canal
