Most Costa Ricans Approve of TLC
Many adults in Costa Rica hold high hopes on the Tratado Libre de Comercio (Central American Free Trade Agreement - CAFTA), according to a poll by Unimer published in La Nación.
 

The Poás Volcano has begun activity again, spewing volcanic material a distance of up to 10Km from the lagoon, according to Universidad de Costa Rica (UCR) geographers. The activity resumed Monday night and with more eruptions Tuesday. The most affected area is the community of Trojas. In addition to the volcanic material, geographers have noted a change in the color of the lagoon from the normal green to grayish.
