Thieves Steal Railway Steel For Scrap Metal
Thieves will go to any means to get their hands on scrap metal to turn it into cash as scrap metal yards do not care much from where the metal comes.

In Liverpool Limón, later yesterday afternoon, police were called to investigate the situation where various men, with acetylene torches, were cutting to pieces a railway bridge.

One of the men was found to be a minor.

The group had a nearby truck waiting to hauled off the scrap metal with an estimated 2 tons already loaded.

What surprised the police is that calmness in which the group of 10 men worked in and the amount of equipment being used.

Authorities believe the crew is responsible for a number of other attacks against railway lines in Limón.
