Tornado! in Desamparados
Residents of the area known as
San Rafael Abajo de
Desamaparados and Aljuelita -
south of San José - got a scare
yesterday as metal roof panels
went flying in the air following
a tornado.
A Tornado touched down
on San Rafael Abajo de
Desamparados and
Alajuelita yesterday
afternoon, tearing off
roofs of more than 10
houses and cutting
electrical power from
San Sebastían to Hatillo.
Fortunately there were
no
injuries or death
reported, only frayed
nerves. In the foto,
