Canadians and Friends of Canadians are
invited to join in the celebration of
Canada’s 142nd birthday organized by the
Canadian Club of Costa Rica at the end of
June.
Members, non-members, new and old friends
are all invited to enjoy the festivities
taking place at Club Campestre Español in La
Ribera de Belén in the province of Heredia
on Saturday, June 27th from 10am until 4pm.
Doors open at 10am, ceremonies begin at
11:30am, and cake-cutting at 1pm.
The fun includes swimming, soccer,
face-painting, bouncy castles, mini-golf,
tennis, pool tables, cribbage games, a grand
tug-o-war, and much more.
Bring your swimsuit and enjoy the 2 heated
pools and hot tub. Free time from 1pm until
4pm is a great time to use the facilities.
The delicious menu features classic cookout
food followed by the traditional red & white
Maple Leaf Canadian Birthday Cake.
Entertainment, games, dancing, door prizes,
and a 50/50 drawing complete the day’s
activities.
Advance ticket purchase is required: ¢7.500
adults, ¢6.000 children (includes
hamburgers, hot dogs, french fries, salads,
ice cream, a non-alcoholic beverage, and
birthday cake.)

Rica in 1997 as both a social club for the
ex-pat community, and a conduit for
charitable outreach activities. Our main
