Colorado Woman Seeks Stem Cell Treatment for MS in Costa Rica

A Colorado woman seeks stem cell treatment in Costa Rica, who is not expecting miracles, but needs help to pursing a controversial treatment for her MS.

Ridgeway resident, Mary Posta, is seeking stem cell treatment in her 20-year battle against the disease. Although research looks promising, stem cell treatment is currently not available to MS patients in the U.S.

Mary feels she needs to take these measures now as her condition worsens. "I have limitations now that are not fun," she said to local television station KJCT 8 news. "I would really like to have the stem cell treatments and have the quality of life for my 60's."
