Drug consumption among young adults
is very worrying within Costa Rican society,
where the number of violent deaths currently
continues to increase.
A report from the Red
Cross, released on Monday, unveiled 97
violence-related deaths, 10 more cases than
in March, using most of the time any type of
instrument used as weapon and firearms.
One of the main problems the nation has is
drug trafficking and drugs consumption,
Security Minister Janina del Vecchio said.
"Drugs are killing our children", she
said to the La Republica.
