New Vehicular Restrictions Of San Jose Around The Corner

Following almost two weeks that the Constitutional Court struck down the vehicular restrictions of San Jose, traffic has become a complete nightmare and such the Poder Ejecutivo (government) has been working on a new decree to bring back the restrictions, which could be again a reality in the coming week.

The ministra de Comunicación y Enlace, Mayi Antillón, said that the government is all set to publish in the official publication, La Gaceta, the new vehicular restrictions of San Jose, but cannot do so until the MOPT minister, Karla González, is notified by the Court of the reasons of the magistrates to strike down the restrictions.

Following the suspension of the restrictions, vehicular traffic in San Jose, especially in areas like La Sabana, where road closures due to repair and construction, has completely collapsed.
