Panama President to Brazil
Panama - Panamanian president-elect Ricardo Martinelli is traveling to Brazil on Tuesday
to discuss trade and investment- related
issues with Brazilian President Jose Inacio
Lula da Silva.
State Communication Secretary Alfredo Prieto
said Martinelli's entourage includes future
Vice President and Foreign Minister Juan
Carlos Varela and Minister of Interior and
Justice, Jose Raul Mulino.
Martinelli's return home is scheduled for
Thursday.
As part of an international agenda prior to
his inauguration on July 1st, Martinelli met
on Saturday with Dominican President Leonel
Fernandez and went to Colombia yesterday to
discuss security and the fight against drug
trafficking with President Alvaro Uribe. |
