Banco Popular Has Lots Of Money To Lend At Cheap Rates
Strapped for cash? Need a loan? Well, the Banco Popular has some ¢5 billion colones for you and at a rate of 10%, down a whopping 11% from their normal rate of 21%.

The bank is looking for customers who need cash for education and medical expenses.

The bank says it will finance costs of purchasing books, school supplies, computers, as well as dentist, eye doctors and surgeries, among other items.

According to Víctor Rodríguez, director of Personal Banking, the bank is aiming to attract the medium to lower working class with its "créditos sociales".
