Nicaraguans Begin Their Return To Costa Rica
Costa Rica immigration officials at the Peñas Blancas border are reading for the massive return of Nicaraguans who live and work in Costa Rica, who went home for the holidays.

Officials estimate some 100.000 Nicaraguans crossed the border north for Christmas and are now beginning to head back to Costa Rica to show up for work on Monday.

Nicaraguan banks close to the Costa Rican consulates in Nicaragua and in Rivas reported this week being saturated as the Nicaraguans lined up to pay the us$20 visa fee required to enter Costa Rica.
