Riteve Open All Week For
Last Minute Inspections
For the thousands of
drivers and owners of
vehicles who still have
not been through the
vehicle inspection for
this year, Riteve is
offering the opportunity
to do so, as they will
be open for the holiday
week.
Riteve announced that it
will close its stations
today (Monday 24) at
noon, stay closed
tomorrow (Tuesday 25),
but will operate
normally from Wednesday
to Saturday. The
stations will be closed
Sunday as usual, but
will be open on December
31 and January 1 on
normal hours.
Having passed the Riteve
inspection is a
requirement to obtain
the 2008 Marchamo, which
is due by December 31,
after which owners of
vehicles and drivers
will be fined for not
having done so and will
have to pay fines and
penalties for late
payment.
For those whose Riteve
inspection is overdue,
INS authorities
recommend waiting at
least three hours after
the completion of the
inspection to go
purchase their marchamo,
the time is required for
the information to be
passed from the Riteve
serves to the INS
servers that is then
available at any of the
more than 800 points of
sale for the marchamo,
which includes all banks
and independent
insurance agent offices.
