Possible Drop in Gasoline Prices
On The Way
Following this week's latest
price increase in the price of
gasoline, good news is on the
way, as the Refinadora
Costarricense de Petróleo (Recope)
is expected to request a
decrease of ¢12 colones for a
litre of super and ¢07 colones
on a litre of regular.
The decision will be up to the
Autoridad Reguladora de
Serviciso Públicos (ARESEP).
The current price of gasoline is
¢574 colones for a litre of
super, ¢559 for regular and ¢513
for deisel.
The price reduction, if and when
approved, will probably not be
felt by consumers until the new
year.
