Costa Rica Hosts Aviation
Conference
Costa
Rica is the chosen local for a
regional aviation conference
aimed at improving air
transportation in Latin America,
according to information by the
Ministerio de Obras Pública y
Transportes (MOPT).
Experts from all over Central
America, South America and the
Caribbean will be in attendance.
The conference started yesterday
and continues until Friday,
where conclusions from the
conference will be evaluated by
the World Council on
International aviation, which is
preparing an update on world
standards for air navigation.
Air security, infrastructure and
environmental challenges faced
by the industry are some of the
topics of discussion.
Representing Costa Rica at the
conference is MOPT
vice-minister, Viviana Martín
and top Aviación Civil
officials.
