Zero Venezuelan Oil to the US in Case of Aggression
The President of Venezuela, Hugo Chavez, ratified today that in case of aggression his country will not send "one drop of oil" to the United States.

Chavez assured the South American nation can coexist with Washington, but there is no possibility of understanding with those authorities or with the domestic oligarchy. Can we coexist?, Yes , But an embrace?, No, he said.

In a press round, the dignitary pointed that any new aggression as the Coup d'etat of April, 2002 would be understood as an action of the United States, whose government -he said- is the head of the local opposition.

If there were to be another assault on Venezuela, there won't be one drop of oil for them. And we are prepared to do it. I hope they don't think on doing this and respect our country, the people, democracy and the world, affirmed Chavez.

The Venezuelan executive, who said he lost political naivety as a consequence of the 2002 coup, warned that in case of another attempt to destabilize the country, they would not find a candid Hugo Chavez.

Concerning his experience he said that with the coup already in progression, the US government tried to trick him and he had scheduled an interview on April 11 with then US ambassador Charles Shapiro.

Besides Shapiro, an envoy of US intelligence services who supposedly brought a message for him would participate in the talks. "See to what point did they set me up", he said.

Chavez recalled that after receiving a call from the White House, the self proclaimed coup president , Pedro Carmona, gave the order to kill him.

On this point he explained that such a setup had its precedent, as it happened in Bolivia , when the order to assassinate Ernesto Ché Guevara came from Washington.
