TLC Will Be
Decided By Referendum
Costa Rican president, Óscar
Arias Sánchez, at noon yesterday announced
that he signed a decree to call
a referendum on the Tratado de
Libre Comercio (TLC) - free
trade agreement with the United
States, the Dominican Republic
and Central America. The decree
will be sent on Tuesday to the
Legislative Assembly.
