Cuba Honors Terrorism Victims
Tributes to victims of a sabotaged Cuban airplane 30 years ago continues on the island Friday, with demands for justice obstructed by the United States.

Among activities is a walk to the Havana"s Mausoleum of the Revolutionary Armed Forces, to view wreckage of the DC-8 plane, with a registration number CUT 1201 from the Cubana de Aviacion airliner.

Relatives of those victims, athletes and people in general use to meet every year, to remember their martyrs and reaffirm their revolutionary wishes.

The Cuban sports community recalls with especial sorrow that aggression because it claimed 24 fencers who carried off all the medals of the Central-Caribbean youth championship of that discipline.

"That crime was an attack on Cuban fencing, which thwarted dreams of those young people and delayed our international sports development." Confessed terrorists Luis Posada Carriles and Orlando Bosch, masterminds of the Barbados crime, have always boasted of their work and are currently residing unpunished in US territory.

They both conceived the sabotage, executed by Venezuelans Freddy Lugo and Hernan Ricardo, who placed in the plane several packets of C-4 explosives that exploded some miles off Barbados coasts.
