Venezuelan VP Rules out Election Fraud
Venezuela Vice President Jose Vicente Rangel assured on Friday that the government would accept the results of the polls in December, because for the present executive the "people s will is respectable."

In declarations to the media in Margarita State, Rangel reminded that the government of President Hugo Chavez has never committed fraud and he expressed the intention to continue thus.

He stoutly denied rumors of irregularities in the electoral panorama just weeks before the presidential elections.

Those reactions, led by some sectors, are being carefully followed by Venezuelan authorities who will do their best to guarantee citizen security during the process, Rangel said.

The Venezuelan vice president attributed such to the conviction of opposition group s of the victory of President Chavez and recalled a similar attempt without evidence during the revocation referendum.

Rangel warned that no disturbances would be tolerated and that peace, order and security would be guaranteed on the basis of the respect for law.
