Mexico to expand relations with Colombia, Panama
 Mexico would widen the scope of its relationship with Panama and Colombia, after Venezuela leaves the G3 trading bloc, a Mexican presidential spokesman said on Monday.

Justiniani said that prisoners are demanding immediate solution to overcrowding and response to why their trials have been delayed.

Some 11,700 people are imprisoned in Panama, where the maximum capacity is for 7,000, and nearly fifty percent of them have not been formally condemned.

The activist said they wanted the Ministry of Government and Justice to create a commission to see to the problems.

Penitentiary precincts like La Joya, La Chorrera, Colon, Aguadulce and Monte Esperanza, among others, are taking part in the hunger strike.
