Honduras on Green Alert from
Rains
Four Honduran departments have
remained under the green alert,
after the National Meteorology
Service confirmed rains will
continue until Thursday.
The storm that pounded that
territory Sunday and continuous
intense rains have caused
flooding and landslides,
affecting about 300 people
mainly in Villa Union suburb.
A school and a municipal center
have given refuge to those
affected, but authorities from
the Municipal Emergency
Committee have warned they will
be unable to maintain the aid
for a long time due to lack of
funds.
