Agilis Group, a US firm of
aeronautical engineering, is
starting operations at Ultra
Park, La Aurora, in Heredia,
Costa Rica.
With an initial 20 to 30 local
mechanical engineers –expected
to increase to 60 professionals
by the end of the year– and an
initial us$300,000 investment,
Agilis Group plans to design in
Costa Rica gas turbines for the
aeronautical industry.
Established in Palm Beach,
California, in 1993, Agilis
specializes in engineering
services, including concept
studies of aerodynamic engines,
mechanical and structural
design, assembling, instruments,
and test and analysis of
designs.
The firm’s customers include
Rolls Royce, Siemens, Honeywell,
Solar, and Pratt and Whitney, a
manufacturer of turbines.
