FMLN Insists on National Consensus
The El Salvadorian Farabundo Marti National Liberation Front Party (FMLN) released Wednesday that it will boost negotiations with the remaining political parties to attain a national understanding and speed constitutional reforms.

FMLN deputies want to reach agreements among all parties for the election of the Attorney General.

They urged definition of the final formation of the Legislative Assembly board to ratify the constitutional modifications.

In addition, they suggested signing a protocol of understanding that guarantees discussion of all issues to achieve changes in the fundamental law of the nation.

FMLN Deputy Salvador Sanches Ceren warned that the Legislative Assembly board must be formed by members of all parties for every State decision to be passed collectively.
