Authorities Say At Least 350 Sex
Criminals On the Loose
Costa Rican authorities say that
there are at least 350 sexual
criminals free on the streets,
criminals who should be behind
bars, but for some reason or
another, have fallen through the
cracks of the system and
continue in liberty.
The majority of the wanted men
are in the areas of Limón and
Pérez Zeledón, areas east of San
José, which offers the fugitives
to easily blend into local
communities.
Authorities say they have a goal
to catch at least 150.
During the past eight months,
judicial authorities captured
106 men running from the long
arm of the law.
