Inflation Slows Down
Even though the prices of basic goods and services continue increasing, they steadily do so at a lower rate, according to the National Statistics and Census Bureau.

The Consumer Price Index increased by 12.22% in the year between March 2005 and March 2006 -i nter-annual variation -, and it is the fourth consecutive monthly variation that follows a downward trend since last November, when it was 14.19%.
