Ninth annual Floating Film
Fest to sail from Costa Rica to
Miami in February
A group of film critics and
passengers depart Costa Rica on
Feb. 7, 2006 for the Floating
Film Festival aboard the
luxurious Crystal Symphony
cruise ship.
Stops on the 11-day voyage
include St. Lucia, Antigua, St.
Martin and Miami.
Among the critics on board:
Roger Ebert, Time Magazine's
Richard Corliss, New York Times
arts writer Ross Johnson, and
George Anthony, director of
special projects for Canada's
CBC-TV arts and entertainment.
More than 20 films will be
screened.
Staterooms go for between $3,300
and $4,700 US, with one of the
13 penthouse suites with veranda
carrying a price tag of $9,500.
