Steady Economic Growth
The Costa Rican economy grew slightly inSeptember, following the trend set in July and August.

According to the Monthly Economic Activity Index, the average increase for the 12 months that ended in September was 4.3%.

Analysts say the leading factors for growth are the good performance of the high-technology electronics sector and the manufacturing industry for the domestic market.
