Fatal Romantic Interlude
Being romantic cost a 21 year old man his life when his vehicle fell into the cliff, dropping some 90 metres and instantly killing him. Miracolously his companion survived the fall, she receiving only bruises and scratches in the accident.

Luis Adolfo Marín Orozco parked his Tracker on the side of the road in the area of Danto de San Vito, in Coto Brus, in the southern zone. In the heat of passion during a romantic interlude with his girlfriend, the vehicle was rocked violently, which followed by tipping over the cliff.

The surviving woman told police that Luis was worried about being hit in the rear while parked in the dark desolated area, so he decided to get closer to the side of the road. The young man told rescuers, who had difficulty getting to the vehicle, that Luis protected her while falling, thus saving her life.
