Man Who Shot Dead His Girlfirend and Sister Found Dead in Liberia
Manuel Francisco Castro Valderomar, known as "Ranger", was found dead about 100 metres from his mother's house, seven days after he murdered his 22 year old girlfriend, Annie Marie Valverde Mora and her 15 year old sister, Arlene Maria, in Liberia.

"Ranger" was the focus of a man hunt that involved up to 50 police officers, as well as an undisclosed number of neighbours from the area, who were not able to locate him. However, early yesterday morning, Danny Aragón Chávez, located the Ranger's body while walking to work.

Ranger was found face down and in a state of decomposition. Police are working on the assumption that the man committed suicide. They found no weapon near the body and will wait a forensic examination to determine the exact cause of death. A bag containing ammunition was found near the body, but no firearm.

Ranger had tried to poison himself in a suicide attempt. Failing, he then decided to assassinate his girlfriend and her sister and then fled the scene. The motive is not clear, however, officials say that the couple had recently been separated and the woman wanted nothing to do with him.
