Prices Rise Faster
This year, prices have increased
at a faster rate than in 2004.
The National Statistics and
Census Bureau reported that, the
first six months in 2005, the
consumer price index went up
6.86%, more than the 6.26%
recorded the first semester in
2004.
The Index measures the changes
experienced by 264 goods and
services.
Just in June, prices went up
0.46s compared to July.
In the last 12 months, between
July 1, 2004, and June 30, 2005,
the cumulate inflation was
13.6%; moreover, in this period,
transportation increased by 17%
and food by 16%.
