Honduras v Costa Rica for a
place in Peru
Honduras and Costa Rica meet in
Tegucigalpa this Sunday to
decide who will take the last
qualification place for the FIFA
U-17 World Youth Championship
Peru 2005.
Costa Rica emerged victorious
from the first leg and need only
a draw to reach the finals.
Giovanni Alfaro's Los Ticos side
take a narrow advantage into the
return leg following their 2-1
victory at home, but will be
without Kendall Watson and Julio
García after both were sent off
in San José.
As for Honduras, nothing less
than a win will do, and they
will need to improve on
Wednesday's performance when
they failed to make their
two-man advantage count.
The winners will join Mexico and
the USA at the finals, to be
held in Peru from 16 September
to 2 October. The draw for the
global showcase will take place
in Chiclayo on 16 July
