Honduran Election still Undecided
A week after the end of the elections, Honduras has not yet named a president, despite the clear lead position of opposition Liberal Party leader Manuel Zelaya before National Party's Porfirio Lobo.

With almost 90% of the polls reviewed, Zelaya registered 49.9 percent of the voted while Lobo took 46.16 percent. Though the tendency is for the difference to be increased to Zelaya's favor, Porfirio Lobo said he would fight the results and alleged irregularities in Sunday's vote.

The votes will then be analyzed by a commission formed by the five parties participating in the November 27 elections. This counting of votes will take at least five more days, according to Erazmo Enriquez, press and communication representative of the electoral process.

Despite all these delays, most of the Honduran people consider Zelaya the winner.

Liberals and conservatives have been alternating in power for the last century in this Central American country, where 80 percent of the population is poor.
