Beginning 7:30pm tonight, the
250.000 new GSM lines will be
ready for sale to the public
after a long wait. The head of
the "móviles" at the Instituto
Costarricense de Electricidad
(ICE) - the state monopoly on
telecommunications - Orlando
Cascante, says that many stores
will be open late tonight to be
the first to fill customer
orders. ICE offices close at
5pm, but tomorrow (Tuesday)
morning you can bet that the
lines will be long.

7 to allow for repair and
maintenance of Paquera ramps.
India Wants
More Trade
The second world largest growing
economy, India, wants more trade
with Costa Rica. This was
confirmed by Primrose R. Sharma,
acting ambassador from the India
Trade Office in Panama.
