Red Alert For Limón As
Hundreds Forced Out Of
Their Homes
Once again the province
of Limón has been hit my
mother nature, leaving
behind hundreds of
families without a roof
and shortage of food
supplies and clothing.
The hardest hit are the
areas of Matina and
Talamanca, where one man
has been reported
disappeared and more
than 1.700 affected. The
area is under a "red"
alert by the Comisión
Nacional de Emergencias
(CNE).
March Against Violence
The strong winds and
showers didn't stop the
family members of
victims of violence from
holding their protest
march in downtown San
Jose. More than 2.000
people showed up for the
protest march called "Ni
un minuto más", in an
attempt to curb violence
in the country.
