Now, Taxi Drivers Threaten To Protest
Traffic in San José was paralyzed on Tuesday with the protest of the informal taxis or porteadores, who are demanding that the government legalize their service. The protest blocked major routes around San José, especially the area surrounding the Legislative Assembly, until the small hours of the morning, waiting the word of Ministra de Transporte, Karla González.
 

Partido Liberación Nacional (PLN) legislator, Federico Tinoco, is accompanied by his wife, family and supporters at a mass paid by the legislator for peace for his family. Tinoco is at the centre of a sexual harassment scandal that has forced a Legislative Commission to investigate the allegations. Tinoco's wife has been by his side since been accused by a former legislature employee of sexual harassment.
