Coopeguanacaste Soon To Offer Internet Service
Good news for residents of Guanacaste as the local utility Coopeguanacaste signed a deal with the Instituto Costarricense de Electricidad (ICE) to provide internet services in the area.

The alliance between Coopeguanacaste and ICE means more options for Guanacastecos and according to ICE's president, Pedro Pablo Quirós, strenghten coverage and better services in Guanacaste.

"Guanacaste has an accelerate growth and needs good services", said Quirós, commenting on the 40 years of service provide by Coopeguanacaste.

The service will become available once the technicians have finalized their testing

Claudio Bermúdez, ICE's subgerente de telecomunicaciones, said that the Coopeguanacaste and the deal signed with JASEC in Cartago last December are part of ICE's commitment to provide similar services to other parts of the country.
