The sentences, from four to five years in jail, were ruled by the IV Anti-Graft Court, with ex Armed Forces Chief, Gen. Nicolas Hermoza, as main convicted.

Hermoza will have to serve a five-year sentence, as will ex Army chiefs, Gens. Jose Villanueva and Oscar Saucedo, and former Air Force Chief, Gen. Elesvan Bello.

Ex Chiefs of the National Intelligence Service (SIN) Julio Salazar and Humberto Rozas were sentenced to five years in prison.
