Man Detained For
Production and
Distribution of Child
Pornography

Pública said yesterday
that they arrested a man
for distribution of
child pornography by way
of the internet.
The man who was not
identified only by his
last Acuña was detained
after police raided two
Hererdia homes and found
evidence and material to
support their suspicion
that the man was
operating a business
dedicated to the
production and
distribution of child
pornography on the world
wide web.
"The objective was to
detain the suspect, who
had in his possession
pornographic material of
minors, which he
distributed by
internet", said
Francisco Morales,
director of the Heredia
municipal police, which
assisted the judicial
authorities.
