False Psychologist Hypnotized Women To Rape Them

False Psychologist Hypnotized Women To Rape Them
The Tribunales de Justicia de Desamparados yesterday began trial of a 67 year old man, a French national, who claimed to be a psychologist hypnotized more than 40 women to rape them.

The rapes occurred between 1996 and 2004.

Investigators charged the man with 46 counts of abuse and 15 counts of rape of women, including several minors.

The women told investigators that they would seek the help of the alleged psychologist. One woman told her story of how, from her first visit, the man would tell her things about her personal life that no one knew. When she asked how knew these things, he replied that he was a "viejo lobo" (old wolf).

Investigators found that the man would quickly take control of the lives of the women, ordering them to make changes in their personal lives, including dropping boyfriends and ending their marriages.

One of the women related her story of how, after being hypnotized, she woke up from the trance semi naked and one occasion she says she was hypnotized solely to perform oral sex on the man and on other occasions she asked to bear her breasts.

Some 20 witnesses are expected to take the stand
