Chile, Argentina Presidents to Vatican
Santiago de Chile - President Michelle Bachelet will
attend in November the 25th anniversary of
the Peace and Friendship Treaty with
Argentina in Rome, confirmed the Chilean
chancellery.
Bachelet will participate in the ceremony
with her Argentine counterpart, Cristina
Fernandez, according to a letter directed to
Pope Benedict XVI delivered by the minister
secretary general of the Presidency, Jose
Antonio Viera-Gallo to the State Secretary
of the Vatican, Cardinal Tarcisio Bertone.
Viera-Gallo went to the interview in the
Vatican accompanied by the Chilean
ambassador to the Holy See, Pablo Cabrera. |
