Guatemala Weather Orange Alert
Guatemala - Guatemalan National
Disaster Prevention Coordination (CONRED)
maintained an orange alert with an emergency
evacuation plan after three days of heavy
rains.
CONRED fears the rivers may overflow and
possible mudslides as the Seismology,
Vulconology, Meteorology and Hydrology
National Institute forecasts more rain
nation wide.
The bad weather is caused by a system of low
pressure coming from Mexico that has already
affected the north and north east of
Guatemala.
