Waterfall Gardens Re-Opens To Tourism

It has been five months since a powerful earthquake hit the area of Cinchona in Vara Blanca de Heredia, leaving thousands homeless and causing partial and total damage to many homes and business in the area, one of which was the "Waterfall Gardens", a popular spot for tourists to the area.

The Jardines de Cataratas or Waterfall Gardens is set to re-open tomorrow, offering the firs tour since the earthquake on January 8.

The nature park includes an aviary, a butterfly farm, a serpentarium, a "ranario", hummingbird garden, monkeys, felines and sloths.
