A reminder to fill you gasoline tank today
as the price of fuels goes up at 12:01am
Saturday, when gasoline stations around the
country increase the price of a litre of
super by ¢40 colones, ¢37 for regular and
¢46 for diesel.
The new prices following the stroke of
midnight tonight will be ¢492 for a litre of
super (up from ¢452), ¢472 for regular or
plus 91 (from ¢435) and ¢400 for a litre of
diesel (up from ¢354).
And if that is not enough, the state
refinery, Recope, is expected to aks for an
increase of at least ¢80 colones per litre,
which increase would take effect the middle
of July.
Jet A-A, Av-Gas, Kerosene and natural gas
products also increase tomorrow.
The increase was approved by the Autoridad
Reguladora de los Servicios Públicos (Aresep)
last week and published today in the
official government publication, La Gaceta.
